To bring this project to life, I followed the ADDIE instructional design model, which allowed me to approach the project systematically from concept to completion.
I collaborated with stakeholders from the Windmill Farm and Craft Market to identify common onboarding issues faced by new vendors. We pinpointed the lack of centralized, accessible training and the need for clear guidance on expectations and logistics. I also gathered existing documentation and vendor FAQs to determine what content needed to be included.
Using the content gathered, I created a structured outline for the orientation flow beginning with market history, moving into operations, and ending with resources and support. I selected Articulate Rise 360 for its modular, scroll-friendly layout, which suits informational courses. I also drafted the quiz questions to reinforce each section.
Once the design was approved, I built the full course in Rise 360, embedding interactive quizzes, visual section headers, and document links for easy access. I ensured a consistent tone, friendly language, and clear navigation throughout the course.

The course was tested internally and prepared for distribution via email and the market’s website. It was designed to be self-paced, accessible on mobile devices, and simple to update as policies evolve.

I gathered informal feedback from market staff and vendors who completed the module, focusing on clarity, engagement, and ease of use. Minor improvements were made to layout and phrasing based on suggestions, resulting in a polished onboarding tool.
