🛠️ My Process

To bring this project to life, I followed the ADDIE instructional design model, which allowed me to approach the project systematically from concept to completion.

1. Analysis

I researched common barriers to effective workplace feedback and studied models from sources like Harvard Business Review and the Center for Creative Leadership. I identified three types of feedback, Appreciation, Coaching, and Evaluation, and three common feedback triggers as the core content for this microlearning.

2. Design

I organized the content into bite-sized lessons, each covering a type of feedback and accompanied by examples. I scripted brief, relatable scenarios that could be used for interaction and reflection. I chose Articulate Rise 360 to support a mobile-friendly, just-in-time learning format.

3. Development

I built the microlearning module in Rise, using scenario-based interactions to help learners recognize feedback types and triggers. I layered in visual callouts, summary cards, and short quizzes to reinforce the learning in a fast, engaging way.

4. Implementation

The module was designed for internal use within a corporate environment and could be deployed via LMS or shared as a web link. Its short length and modular structure made it ideal for use during onboarding or team-building workshops.

5. Evaluation

I collected feedback from instructional designers and HR professionals during a peer review process. Their input helped refine phrasing and improve pacing between interactions. The final version offers a concise, effective learning experience that helps learners understand the power and nuance of workplace feedback.
